On Monday, the New London Ag/FFA program commenced their first step of establishing a strong FFA Chapter!
These seven officers include Lily Syfert - President, Maison Nelson - Vice-President, Tucker Syfert - Treasurer, Alexa Lair - Secretary, Ava DeHart - Reporter, Noel Strickland - Sentinel, and Carter Adams - Historian. They all participated in a Chapter Officer Leadership Training held at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School for the Southeast Iowa region. They participated in team building activities that provide a growth model structured around the roles and responsibilities of the FFA chapter leadership roles.
What is the responsibility of each leadership role?
President - Presides over meetings using parliamentary procedure.
Vice-President - Assists the president in all duties and assumes the president’s role if necessary.
Secretary - Prepares and posts the agenda for each meeting.
Treasurer - Maintains accurate financial records.
Reporter - Informs the public about chapter activities through news articles, social media, and school announcements.
Sentinel - Assists the president in maintaining order, keeps the room comfortable and organized.
Historian - Maintains chapter history, scrapbook, and records of achievements.

We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Assistant High School Basketball Coach to join our team for the upcoming season!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in coaching and developing student-athletes.
* Help design and implement practice plans.
* Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship on and off the
court.
* Support the head coach with game strategies and player development.
Qualifications:
* Previous basketball coaching experience (preferred).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.

At Clark Elementary, students raced through the Color Run, had a blast at Fun Day, and made unforgettable memories with friends and teachers. Smiles and color everywhere! 😃
Over at the secondary building, students enjoyed ice cream, nachos, and all the fun that comes with celebrating a great year. 🎉
And of course, we honored our 8th graders as they wrapped up their middle school journey and got ready to take on high school! We’re so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what comes next!
